Xenios Thrasyvoulou, Founder and CEO
Xenios founded Arcarnus with a vision of creating the leading lifestyle services provider for B2C and B2B clients.
Xenios’ background is in investment banking and corporate business development. Other involvements of his include his position as Partner at “XTZ Capital Partners LLP” - a private equity, leveraged buy-out fund that he co-founded. "XTZ" specializes in the acquisition, turnaround, repositioning and subsequent disposal of underperforming hotel assets.
Xenios is also the founder and a Director of “Holiday Visions Ltd” - a long-haul, outbound travel operator specialising in boutique resorts in luxury destination worldwide.
Xenios is a graduate of the University of Cambridge with an MA/Meng. He has also attended executive education at Harvard Business School, and has been host speaker on the topic of entrepreneurship at INSEAD business school’s entrepreneur’s club.
Simos Kitiris, Director
Simos joined Arcarnus as an executive director, with a strong focus on technology and operations.
Prior to Arcarnus, Simos worked as a management consultant for Accenture - one of the world’s leading consultancy firms - and managed the successful delivery of a number of projects, primarily within the pharmaceutical and drink industries. Apart from project management, Simos has also held various other roles in other areas, ranging from change management to digital marketing.
Simos has also experience in the travel industry, having worked on system design and implementation for Amadeus, the company behind the leading global travel reservation system.
Simos is a graduate of the University of Cambridge with an MA/Meng.
Themis Papadopoulos, Director
Mr Papadopoulos holds a BA degree in Politics and is the CEO of Interorient Navigation Company Ltd. He joined Interorient in 1997 and was appointed CEO in 2004. He is a director in a number of other companies including Norient Product Pool A/S and Lipoxen Technologies Ltd.
Alberto is a qualified lawyer who completed the College of Law in 1997.
He started working in the nightclub business 15 years ago and now owns and manages his own clubs. Alberto is a director and shareholder of Pangaea London and a shareholder of Aura London and Watford.
Alberto has also co-founded a nightclub and boutique hotel in South Beach Miami. In addition, he manages an extensive portfolio of properties in London, and is a partner in a firm of building contractors which specialise in renovation.
Alberto is an invaluable resource for Arcarnus, bringing an extensive network in the global leisure and entertainment industry. His connections in restaurants, nightclubs, bars and hotels extends to all corners of the world, enabling Arcarnus clients to enjoy priority services at the most exclusive venues worldwide.
